Good food, wish there was more vegetable on the fish tacos

Just okay. We ordered ice tea, got water...good view.

I had one of the best salads of my life at The Boat House. Roasted beets with fresh strawberries and a balsamic reduction that was so rich, it was heaven. Great service. Check it out!

Unique is an understatement. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the river view and the wait staff. Food was A-OK. Only reason not a 5 is that on the enclosed patio area there was no conditioning or fan and about a 72 degree due point. On the plus side, the windows were open and there as a small breeze. :)I recommend that you give it a try!

What can I say! Mind blowing amazing tasty drinks I've never heard of while agonizing on how to decide what to order. Each selection sounded better than the last. We had to all agree to order different entrees and share. Wow, everything tasted incredible. Can't wait to go back

This is a really nice restaurant, located right on the Mississippi River. The views are amazing. It's the only restaurant still in operation on the river in Winona. The handcrafted cocktails are delicious, the cheese curds are the best. They are cooked in an amazing tasting garlic oil.

What a gem! Great quality food and friendly staff. I go here every time I visit. Highly recommend.

Nice views but pricey with limited menu

The Boat House is awesome! I love the vibe and atmosphere, and the natural lighting is beautiful. The food is super fresh and so so delicious. The Bloody Mary is by far the BEST Bloody Mary I have ever had! I’m originally from Chicago and credit myself as a foodie, and I promise this place will not disappoint.

Loved the view of the river. The food was very good. It offered delicious sounding desserts and drinks.

Service was a little slow, but food is excellent! Very flavorful and good portions. We had a nice view of the Mississippi. Overall great experience!

Ordered the pasta from the daily special. It was so flipping salty I could only take 2 bites. The server brought something else but I still had to pay 1/2 price. The second dish wasnt the best either but filled the void. The fish tacos are great but how do you screw up.fish tacos? 2 visits in a row that were disapointing.

Great food and service. They need more servers; the superwoman who was working on the weekend was doing the bar, the main room and the second room alone on Superbowl Sunday. I'll be back.

What an awesome atmosphere and view of the river! Thats about the only good thing I can say about this restaurant. The service was awful. Our server was one of the rudest women I have ever met. In the middle of our order she decided that she needed to go get change for the people next to us and just walked away. She then proceeded to close out yet another table and then move on to a new table that already had their drinks. When we left i truly believe she was clueless as to why we left. Management was not much better. Really sorry the experience was so poor as it really is a nice place. Perhaps we will give it one more shot hoping for a better experience.

Seating right on the river, a delicious juicy Lucy and amazing melted cheese curds. I work at the Fairfield and recommend this place to all my guests- so good!!

Great view of the river, good service, and one of the best tasting burgers I have ever had. Add a little outdoor seating and it would be perfect. Good for young kids as well.

Have been there about 4 times. Food is good, nothing spectacular. Prices fair. Unfortunately each time we've been there has been at "peak" hours. Servers are polite but simply not enough of them at peak hours to provide attentive service, so service has been very poor each time. Getting a drink from the bar even worse. Not that many places to choose from in Winona. Don't go at peak hours.

Great food, fun cocktails, wonderful service, and superb location. Watch the beautiful water and all it entails while you sip and dine.

We enjoyed the food, walleye Fish and chips, a healthy cup of great clam chowder, with water. We had a 🍺 earlier at ED's No Name Bar,. The food was nicely seasoned. We also enjoyed our waitress everything was brought out in a very timely manner. Thanks

Have some great regular menu options, but this place has great specials! You pay for the quality and it's well worth it! Bonus, great view of the river!

Worst steakhouse ever!! Service was atrocious. We were there an hour before our food came, then the order was wrong, waited for the correction, by that time we were done eating. Turned the correction down and asked for an adjustment on my bill. Steak was partially edible. Only one salad dressing was available and it tasted like raw vinegar. The wine was good.

What a shique little restaurant! The Boat House is a tiny gem in Winona. The menu is a step up, and the views are amazing. The servers are thoughtful but sometimes find it hard to keep up. They sometimes run out of items on the menu, but it is amazing what they can do with such a small kitchen.

Delicious food. Great views of the river. Excellent service. Small size restaurant so you may have a short wait on busy weekends. When it's nice outside definitely sit on the patio.

The food was really good the service was phenomenal but the prices are high for Winona. I really enjoyed it a lot I just hope Winona will support it. We seem to have a real problem with supporting fine dining restaurants.

When the restrooms are accessible only from the outside on a 30-degree day, it’s hard to land a five-star review. Food was ok and the fries kind of felt a little over-fried.

Great place to go in Winona. It’s on the river and the food is very good. Mostly standard steakhouse fare with just enough flavor to be interesting. Seething is limited so off peak is recommended.
